About Reza Eslami

Mohammad Reza (Reza) Eslami is a Canadian Regulated Immigration Consultant (RCIC), R710241, founder & CEO of Arnika Visa Solutions Inc., and an active member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC, formerly ICCRC). Mr. Reza has over twenty years of experience assisting International Businesses, and in the past years, with a focus on immigration to Canada. His primary practice area is to provide local and foreign businesses, from start-ups to high-net-worth individuals, with full immigration support in Canada. It ranges from getting work permits for Entrepreneurs/Self-employed Categories (C11) or Intra-Company Transfer (C12), Start-up Visa (SUV) Applications, Investors, Traders, and Business Professionals to apply for permanent residence (PR) through Express Entry (EE) or Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Self-Employed or Investor streams. Reza connects his clients with trusted service providers and networks in Canada. Mr. Reza speaks English, French, and Persian.

Reza’s first immigration experience:

It happened when he applied for a Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) to immigrate to Canada in 2000. The processing times took a long time (6 years waiting for the immigration authorities’ interview). Sadly, he was refused in 2006 as the IRCC officer challenged him at the discussion for his job experience arising from his letter of employment (LOE). Hopefully, these waiting years kept him up to date regarding immigration regulations by actively looking at the IRCC website. Reza was part of a group of friends who were the victim of a ghost consultant who prepared them for the interview without knowing the Canadian Immigration act and regulations. This experience drastically affected his life but inspired Reza to apply again as an FSWP in 2008. Still, the program requirements were changed, and his field of expertise wasn’t qualifying anymore, so his application was returned without being proceeded. In 2012, He applied via Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) and finally landed in Canada as an Immigrant in February 2013.

Having navigated the immigration process himself from start to finish (2000-2013), Reza comprehends the emotional challenges clients face and is committed to ensuring clients’ applications receive the highest level of care, quality, and attention to detail to provide the most significant possibility of success. Reza has helped foreign nationals to come to Canada through various Immigration streams. Apart from these, Reza has assisted many newcomers (PR) in finding their first professional job in Canada by teaching them all the required skills to get hired by Canadian employers.

In Quebec, he has worked for law firms and multinational companies, developing extensive knowledge and experience in assisting people interested in immigrating and investing in Canada. In 2018 he accepted a representative position at the Immigration Law Firm (BMS AVOCAT) while he had completed his Immigration Practitioner Certification to become an RCIC. He ended the complete skills exam in July 2021 and continues to practice his immigration skill now.

How Reza’s background in the Quality Control position can help him in Immigration practice

These days, in most immigration programs, the Canadian Immigration authorities do not hold an immigration interview with an applicant (Foreigner national). Instead, the Immigration Program Officer shall exercise Due Diligence in assessing an application (Verification & Validation Skills of Supporting Documents). It means they accept or refuse the application after a details examination of the documents, particularly the supporting documents (Identity, Educational, Financial, and Employment Documents), along with their explanations. Thus, the applicant needs to prepare supplementary documents in addition to the immigration forms to obtain the best achievable and favourable result from the IRCC.

As an immigrant to Canada, you probably do not know about the Chinook system. The Chinook is a software system that drafts the IRCC Officer’s note (In cases of refusal) to help speed up the process of reviewing and finalizing the applications. Upon the officer’s decision to refuse an application, they will access the Chinook system to help determine and draft the refusal’s reasons. They may add reasons in their language alongside the note taken from the system or use the Chinook system language in the applicant’s file. You can imagine that at high-volume visa offices, with an enormous number of applications that need to be reviewed and finalized daily, as well as IRCC policy to maintain equal levels of refusal, that refusal will only be based on the RISK ASSESSMENT.

The quality control job in managerial positions in Canada requires significant attention to detail and Document Verification & Validation Skills. Effective use of data analysis tools and skills, Risk Assessment, problem-solving, review and search, willingness to learn new methods and systems, and ability to manage multiple priorities and decision-making, including crafts, are among the skills required for holding a QC Manager Position. So, all these essential skills of the QC Manager job in Canada are crucial to well-prepare an application to submit to IRCC.

Reza’s career path in Canada demonstrates how successfully he has applied these skills. His career path in Iran and Canada shows how successfully he uses these skills in his position. He realized that many people want to immigrate legally to Canada with the help of an RCIC, so he decided to move to Immigration practices to apply his professional skills to help the immigrant make a very smooth transition to Canada as their new country.

What are Due Diligence Procedures

The IRCC officer conducts an effective due diligence review process under any immigration category. The Immigration Officer reviews the documents submitted along with the application for thoroughness and program integrity. They need to ensure that the information in the documents matches the information recorded on the various forms and that the documentation is genuine. They may then conduct any search to ascertain if there are any noticeable discrepancies.

Why Seeking Reza’s Professional Help is Essential

The documentation and processes in successfully obtaining a Canadian TR or PR for a foreign beneficiary are complex and probably require legal expertise. With a considerable number of applicants from around the world competing for Canadian TR or PR each year, it is crucial to get help from an experienced RCIC to ensure your application package has the best chance of being accepted by IRCC. Missed or inaccurate details can result in a refusal application, which can be heartbreaking if it could have been easily avoided if prepared by a skilled immigration expert.
