In general speaking, the cost of education depends on the level of study, school, program, and location.

To give you an idea we found that tuition can range from:

College: 7000-30000 CAD

University: 9000-50000 CAD

Language:

  • Toronto: 12-week English language school = CAD 3,515
  • Quebec City: 12-week French language school = CAD 3,570
  • Vancouver: 12-week English language school = CAD 4,083
  • Calgary: 12-week French language school = CAD 3,446

Be sure to compare programs from different provinces and schools if you are on a tight budget. The cost of accommodation, food, and transportation varies from city to city however, we found that living expenses for a year averaged around CAD 12,000.

You may be eligible for a scholarship, fellowship or grant to complete your studies in Canada. Each year, the Government of Canada, the provinces, and many educational institutions provide funding to international students.
