MAKE YOUR RIGHT MOVE TOWARD CANADA

What is the fastest way to get a work permit in Canada?

If you have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer and are willing to move to Canada, then the Global Talent Stream (GTS) is one of the fastest options to get a Canadian work permit. IRCC guarantees to process GTS work permits within two weeks of receipt of an application.

What is Canada Global Talent Stream?

An Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) initiative called the Global Talent Stream (GTS) enables Canadian employers to hire overseas workers for in-demand professions quickly.

The program aims to help Canadian businesses overcome skill gaps and fill open positions within their workforces while boosting the country’s economic expansion.

Under the Global Talent Stream (GTS) program, employers can apply for a work permit to hire qualified foreign workers in industries with a high demand for their services. GTS offers two eligibility categories: Category A and Category B.

Category A

Your Canadian employer must be recommended by one of the GTS’s acknowledged partners to qualify for the GTS’s Category A.

Additionally, they ought to hire someone with advanced knowledge in the industry or a degree in it OR with five years of relevant experience and a job paying at least $80,000.

The least popular option is Category A. Employers must explain how they plan to increase job creation in the Canadian market as part of this category.

Category B

Employers must try to hire highly qualified international talent to fill in-demand positions on the Global Talent Occupations List to be eligible for Canada Global Talent Stream Category B.

The list has been expanded by 5, bringing the total number of occupations under category B to 17.

The pay for that position must be at least as high as the going rate.

How to hire Foreign workers under GTS

How to hire Foreign workers under GTS Canada?

Foreign workers hired under the Canada Global Talent Stream must be paid at least the prevailing wage, which is determined by one of three factors:

Based on one of three variables, the prevailing pay must be paid to foreign workers hired under GTS Canada.

  1. The occupation’s median salary is listed in the Job Bank of the Government of Canada.
  2. The remuneration is comparable to what the employer pays current employees in the same role at the same site with the same qualifications.
  3. The Global Talent professions list defines the minimum salary floor (if applicable).

The highest of these three amounts is the prevailing wage. This stipulation was put to guard against companies using the GTS Canada to undercut local wages and guarantee that foreign workers hired through the program are paid fairly and competitively.

According to the Canada Global Talent Stream, skilled engineers can get a Canadian work permit within two weeks of applying. The stream’s goal is to supply Canada with highly skilled talent. On the other hand, the stream offers a great platform to applicants who want to immigrate to Canada temporarily or permanently.
